This year’s M & O conference is scheduled to be held in Tuesday, May 03, 2016 – Wednesday, May 04, 2016 in Glendale, California at the Hilton Los Angeles North, 100 West Glenoaks Blvd. The agenda is geared to all maintainers and operators of Bell Light, Intermediate and Medium series helicopters. At the conference there will be an opportunity for Bell helicopter operators, owners, pilots and maintenance operators to meet and talk with specialists who can provide the most up-to-date technical information on Bell helicopters. Additionally, those who attend and are present for the required eight hours of training will qualify for Inspection Authorization (IA) and a letter of certification will be given to all who complete the course.
The M & O conference itself is free for all Bell helicopter maintainers and operators. The only cost to attend will be travel expenses, accommodations and meals. A special rate of $159.00 per night (exclusive of local taxes and fees) is being offered by the Hilton Los Angeles North in Glendale. Availability is limited. Please make your reservations before Monday, April 18th. If you received an invitation letter, please use the reservation link in your letter.
The cost of the hotel room includes free Internet and free deluxe breakfast daily, for up to 2 people per room. After April 18th, or when the reserved block of rooms is filled, reservations will be accepted at the $159.00 rate on an availability only basis. Please have your credit card handy to guarantee the room when calling for a reservation.
Located approximated 30 miles from the LAX (Los Angeles International Airport and 9 miles from BUR (Burbank Bob Hope Airport) the hotel offers a shuttle only from the Burbank Airport. Running from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, it is recommended that a reservation be made for the shuttle. This can be done by contacting the hotel directly. If driving, the Hilton Los Angeles North is offering a special rate of $10.00 per day for self-parking for M & O conference attendees and guests.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. on the 3rd, with exhibits opening at 9 a.m. Sessions will be offered on such topics as Able Engineering, On Board Cargo Hooks, new product development and Light, Medium and Intermediate Aircraft Updates. Special break-out sessions are scheduled on topics such as Huey II Update and OH-58 Update. Please note that due to ITAR restrictions, these sessions are only available to U.S. citizens. Attendees who want to attend these sessions will be required to show proof of citizenship or will not be admitted. Attendees who want to attend these break-out sessions will be required to show proof of citizenship such as a birth certificate, Armed Forces DD Form 1966 or U.S. passport.
